Today = grumpy day. Why? No idea. "Grumpy, grumpy, grumpy," i ruminate as i devour handful after handful of too sweet, too full of licorice flavored jelly beans. My jaw actually aches from chewing.

Maybe it's grumps due to the overly domestic evening i spent last night baking cupcakes for a baby shower (non-vegan, full of butter and eggs cupcakes with Rolos stuffed into the batter and posted on top of each to announce the flavor of the cupcake -- Rolos, by the way, take FOREVER to unwrap and two per cupcake... seriously, we're talking stay-at-home goddess work here), knitting, laundry, and grocery shopping. Really, i am just not cut out to be a domestic goddess and i'm so ok with that. So maybe we were watching one of our favorite (off-the-air, cuz really, any good imaginative programming gets cut muy pronto in favor of watching supposedly "realistic" scenarios unfold about people trying to survive island trials or find their soul mate) sci fi shows while all this domesticity was happening, but sheesh...

But, i think it's just a normal case of the grumps, cuz i can think of all kinds of other grumpy scenarios to share. So... a good dinner out may solve the problem. Off we go...
