i have sadly been recovering from first the influenza, then a long-lasting, nasty cold. And as our dear friend Jane has said, "My sore throats are always worse than anyone's." *pressing hand to forehead*

*chuckle* Not really, i'm just really sick of feeling crummy. But i'm pleased to share that in spite of the snot, damp tissues, dry nostrils and chapped hands, i was a successful scrapbooker this weekend. Three layouts (hey - one of them was a two-pager) is a rather good tally, i daresay (yes, i've also been watching BBC Masterpiece Theater as i scrap).

And yes, it takes me a while to get a layout just right.  For, who should i be the one to prove dear Jane wrong: "An artist cannot do anything slovenly."

This is my favorite one from the weekend -- of my sweet, new niece, Eden.

My hope is to wrap up 2010 events quite soon, so that i may be current with 2011 and perhaps even make headway on older works.
